Female character- I have chosen to cast this female because i believe she would appeal to my fun loving demographic of 16-25 year olds. This is because she is a young, fit and attrcative girl which would appeal to viewers. She may also be easy to relate to as she will be of a similar age to the demographic and she also fits the right age for the song as it is about being 18.
Male character- I have chosen to cast this character for many similar reasons to my female caharcter as they will appeal to my mainstream demographic making it easy for them to be marketted.

Images and AV content
I will take 3 pictures of my main male character, 3 pictures of my main female character and 3 of them together. They will be taken around locations from my video and will include a mix of serious photos and silly photos to carry on the narrative from the video but also appeal to my deomgraphic of fun loving 16-25 year olds. My AV content will be a video comprised of funny fails and bits that were not included in the video. It will show some behind the scenes aswell to entertain viewers but also educate on how the video was made.

Plot blocking graph
From 30 to 45 seconds it will show the main characters which other partners and how this may upset each other.
From 45 seconds to 1.15, all the memories of when they are together are showcased and they remember how good it used to be.
1.30 to 1.45 will show when they broke up, it will include shouting at each other etc.
1.45 to 2.00 will show the anti stereotype of my female character chasing my male character to try and get things back together.
2.00 to 3.00 will be the characters together, mainly including performance and perhaps montage.

Adele's website at first comes across as very professional with the fonts and pictures used. This may have been done to show that she is professional and serious. Although this is what may first be perceived, this is then contradicted by the informal and rather personal note that is currently on the website which provides information on how she is currently in able to perform. Her website largely consists of images and videos, she mad have done this to excite people and show herself off. Another way in which she largely promotes herself is how she has a whole page directly linking to her social media accounts; this is now common for all big artists.

Ariana Grande music video analysis
Narrative- In this music video, there is a rather strong narrative that fits with the lyrics of 'break free'. It shows Ariana Grande being trapped by what seems to be aliens and throughout the video it shows her trying to get away.
Performance- This video does follow a narrative but also has many areas of performance and it seems to flick between. There is lots of lypsincing done aswell.
Locations- This music video showcases many different locations that all appear to be very futuristic, even the performance shots. These locations include what appears to be inside a white tunnel and also several on a spaceship.
Mise en scene- There is lots of mise en scene such as all the props used e.g the chains. All characters are also styled appropriately to their role. Furthermore, placement is used of the beats pill.

Music video
For my music video i wish to create a happy, excitable and fun loving atmosphere for my viewers. My demographic will target 16-25 year olds who enjoy listening to pop music. This is very mass market and i will hope to express a happy mood however there will also be a disruption in the equilibrium but it does reach equilibrium once again at the end, this will apply Todorov's theory. I will use mise en scene in rural areas to connote freedom and create an active representation which will be further backed up by the stylish yet vibrant clothing which will aim to show anti-stereotypes. The narrative reflects this in that the female in the relationship is the empowered character who demonstrates masculine traits in the way she pursues the male character. I believe all the fashion and locations used will be relate able to my target audience of fun loving 16-25 year olds therefore offering personal identity. I intend to use two social groups of male and female which will fit the demographics of the audience; this is so that the audience can understand the people in the music video and potentially join in. My editing will coincide with the beat to reflect Goodwin's music video conventions and my video will be performance based with a slight narrative to really represent the song. There will also be montage to reflect music video conventions and imply new equilibrium when the relationship is successful. The performance will still be done by the male character so the representation doesn't alienate a mass market audience and still targets my demographic.

For my website, i wish to include all of the appropriate conventions of website design by displaying a prominent logo, and showing off the band. On the home page, i will make sure the name of my artists is clear and that is where the music video will be accessible. Below the music video, i will include other website conventions such as tour dates which will be important to both my artist and Sony to create a bigger and more diverse fan base. On the second page of the website will be where there is information about the artist. As well as having information on the artist, i will show photos of the artists and perhaps a behind the scenes of filming the video which will not only be entertaining for my audience to watch, but also give them an incite on how it was all created. On the menu bar, there will be options for 'home', 'information' 'videos', 'photos' and a 'store'. The only pages that will contain my work and media language will be the home and information page because they will be the two i wish to be marked on. Not only this, but on all pages my logo will be clearly displayed as well as all social media. The social media will be able to be accessed to provide and interactive side to my website for fans. The social media will encourage my target demographic to use the website because 16-25 year olds are likely to be on these apps and furthermore i will provide links on the social media to the website so its easy to reach for the mass market.
